Smokybeats is a Techno sound-producer at KlangReaktion Rec. since 2011. In 2012 he starts producing and management at Minimalgestöber Rec. too. Since 2011 Steffen Weiss produced under his pseudonym "Smokybeats" experimental beats from electro to techno until he found his way to electronic dance music that is fascinating him today. Steffen Weiss is now especially infected by dark-techno and minimal. He plays driving minimal / techno tracks. Offbeat basslines with fat kick drums and a driving, progressive and repetive rhythms and melodies are trademark of his style.
