Growing up in Detroit gave me a wonderfully broad musical history. Motown sounds were always playing in the background when I was a kid. During my teen years, the fabulous sound of late 70s and early 80s disco was all the rage and later, when I was in college, I was introduced to the techno sound born in Detroit. In 2000, I moved to London, where I lived for 8 years. That is where I was first introduced to the DJ booth. Amongst several bar and nightclub residencies, I also played on London House Music radio station, PUSHFM, for 4 years, hosting my own show called JAM Sessions. More recently, I played for 2 years on the internet radio station DanceFMLive. Having exposure to the wide array of musical genres London has on offer really broadened my musical repertoire and heavily influenced my DJ library. I’ve honed my style over the years and focused on a vibe that is influenced by my history, which keeps me rooted in Deep, Soulful, Percussive, Balearic, Afro and Classic House Music.
