This is Episode 10 of The Beatles Anthology Revisited, in which the lads destroy Brian Wilson’s hopes and dreams with Sgt. Pepper, which in turn becomes the hit album to end all hit albums. The Summer of Love, etc.

This version is the updated 2016 “Complete Edition,” with improved audio snippets, new information, and extensive reediting to better tell this story of stories. Album art was pulled from Paul Chivers’ megamix “All Together Now: Everything the Beatles Ever Did.” Episode titles were adapted by myself from the editor’s originals. Any historical errors, of omission or otherwise, are the fault of the original anonymous editor and do not reflect my own views.
