Avant! Records is by far one of the most consistent labels in Italy and EU, setting the standard for anything EBM, dark-wave, industrial, synth-wave and post-punk. Andrea Napoli who runs the label is a close friend and one of those guys that’s always into trading ideas about anything that can help us navigate this small weird world of underground music labels. A few weeks ago, during lockdown, Andrea wrote an article about the missing links between skinhead music and post-punk for London’s own Creases Like Knives https://creaseslikeknives.wordpress.com/2020/04/16/the-oi-wave-that-could-have-been.
