Baggy & Madchester 87 to 92. (Vol. 1) Rosco Smith
Greater Manchester is represented (Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, Inspiral Carpets, Northside, New Order, The Charlatans, Paris Angels) and Merseyside (The Las, The Real People, The Farm, Top). But the baggy scene spread way past the North of England… how about Flowered Up, Blur, The Beloved and Thousand Yard Stare from further south? And The Soup Dragons and Primal Scream from Scotland!
Anyway, hope you enjoy this mix – all from original vinyl 45s. It’s a bit of a break from the norm from my other mixes.
This will be the first in a series as I’ve got tons of this stuff on vinyl – so look out for more baggy and Madchester stuff in the future.
