MaddJazz

Chicago is the birthplace of many great musical influences and movements. MaddJazz, a SouthSider by way of Guadalajara, Mexico arrived at this city at a very young age. Many factors played roles in his involvement with Music and DJing. MaddJazz has been honing his innovative style Since 1996 at the age of 14. Within a few years he was already DJing at raves, loft parties and clubs. Influenced by these early raves as well as his start in the turntablism scene where he won or placed in numerous DJ Battles including the Chicago DMC Heats, MaddJazz blends his favorite House, Techno, Rave, Hip Hop, Bmore, Jersey Club, Ghetto, Juke, and Latin elements in the attempt to find inventive ways to showcase the emergent Chicago sound. In 2007 Maddjazz played an important role in forming the DJ / Production crew Ghetto Division which later went on to become an independent record label. By 2010 his debut solo EP titled 'Mind Of A MaddMan' was released which gained international support.
