James 'DJ Acid'

I’ve began Dj'ing at the age of 13 with my Cousin, "House Music Legend' Paul Johnson. I Deejay'd on a local radio station in Chicago, WKKC in High School with him as well. Known as DJ Acid, a name given to me while attending Illinois State by two of my close friends. My Father gave me my first turntable at the age of 4. Over the years I've had guest spots at venues throughout Chicago, as well as, the opportunity of playing with many well known DJ's. I termed the moniker of "HOT LIKE FIRE" for my mixes and it has transcended to become part of my DJ name. Creator of "IT'S HOUSE THURSDAY'S" broadcasting every Thursday on Twitch.TV & "SATURDAY NIGHT HEAT" broadcasting on Mixcloud. Whenever I DJ, it’s never about me, it’s about everyone having a good time and I’ve done my job when everyone has enjoyed themselves.
