Born and raised in London, it’s no surprise a city with such a wealth of musical output encouraged Siobhan Bell to pursue DJing. After starting out working for record labels alongside A&R, Siobhan let her penchant for late ’90s and early 2000s R&B take her from the desk to the decks as she concreted a reputation for kicking off a party in style. And with an East London club night, Cherryade, under her belt, she shows no signs of slowing down.
We grabbed her for our milestone twentieth Highsnobiety Mixtape, as she gave us a taste of what her scene’s about. Skipping between grime, rap and hiphop, with a smattering of remixes and a sprinkle of exclusive Siobhan Bell edits, it’s a black book of what you can prepare to wile out to in Siobhan’s sets.
