Free the Robots

Chris Alfaro aka Free the Robots (Producer/ DJ) has been recording and performing in various forms for over two decades. With a discography of recordings scattered among labels such as Alpha Pup, All City, Epitaph, Ubiquity and more, his music knows no bounds. His past collaborations span from Grammy award winning keyboardist, Ikey Owens (The Marsvolta), to the legendary band Gray (former band of Jean Michel Basquiat). As an avid collector, curator and creator of rare-innovative music, he has always found himself at the forefront of numerous creative scenes, of all genres, evolving around the globe.  Based in Los Angeles he is known as one of the pioneering artists behind LA’s world renowned “beat scene,” made famous by the Low End Theory. Throughout his career as a live performer, he has solidified his place among the greats, sharing stages with the artists such as DJ Shadow, Flying Lotus and Afrika Bambaataa.
