My first London Club experience in 1989 at a basement hotel in Paddington with Weatherall at the helm, changed my life forever. Arriving in London to the beat of Acid House, it didn't take long before I was captivated by the London Club Scene and the heady mix of house & Balearic beats. I was the founder of Wriggle & Twistedfunk club nights which ran from scruffy basements and super clubs in the late '90s into the late Noughties! and was one half of the production outfit TwistedFunk along with Pete Gleadall. My taste is still influenced by the Musical freedom that came with Balearic Beats, but my foot is firmly in electronic house & techno Camp. Ed Rockstar gravitates towards club-style Deep Tech, while my Digital Renegade moniker explores a more Slowed Down, Chugging mix of Sonic, Electronic Techno where I can be a bit more experimental with the track selection.
