Aka Dials, East London Astronaut Born in London '88, lived in Streatham, moved to Kent age 4. Learnt to mix vinyl at 17 with my good pal Andy on his 1210s. Moved to Notts in Sep 06, regular at Firefly with Max Cooper (Thrash Jelly). Mixes with Max's ethereal techno circulated. Into the realms of Extrawelt, Robag Wruhme & Dominik Eulberg + Nathan Fake, James Holden and Fairmont through Wigflex, Stealth vs. Rescued (my second home). Codesouth FM radio DJ host in Brighton in 2011. Moved back to London 2012. Launch tropical party Fruité in 2013 w. Amar. DJ upbeat house, moody techno. Events at Four Quarters w Jodie Harsh, D Superstore, Voodoo Rays, Peckham Audio. Bogotá 2017, Sydney 2018. The music I play has progressed to span a much wider range of genres beyond techno, with elements of deep house, trance, electronica, new beat, breaks and 90s rave. Tracks with strong emotional resonance are woven throughout my mixes to evoke feelings of nostalgia, a sense of warmth in reflection.
