Doc Fiasco

Ian Fiasco has been DJ-ing in Cork since 2000 & has presented the weekly CORNERSTONE show on UCC98.3FM since March 2005. Dr Ian organises many regular gigs: Soulville (Northern Soul / Soul Jazz), Take Me To The River (Jazz Funk / Disco), The Moonstomp (Ska / Reggae), The Joint Is Jumpin' (Swing Jazz) and Balkan Boom (Eastern European). DJ Fiasco has been warm-up DJ for many bands visiting Cork, including Soul II Soul, The Beat, The Buzzcocks, James Taylor Quartet, Sly & Robbie, Finley Quaye, Asian Dub Foundation, Talvin Singh, Citizen Fish, Fat Freddy's Drop and Ashley Beedle. He regularly plays his rare vinyl at The River Lee hotel and The Bridge Bar. Ian has previously had weekly DJ residencies at the Crane Lane, Bodega, Pavilion, Sextant, Goldbergs, Porterhouse, Tikki Lounge & Yumi Yuki Club. He has also frequently DJ-ed at the Electric Picnic, Dun Laoghaire Festival of World Cultures, Life Festival, Townlands Carnival and Cork's Jazz, Film, Choral, Harbour & Midsummer Festivals.
