Now 46 he started dj'ing at underground club '55' in Gent (Belgium) aged 16 , where the world famous Glimmers (Mo & Benoelie) were already playing the decks , dropped out last year university , love of dj'ing & partying held greater promises . Experienced the new wave ,new beat, indie rock (Pixies ,...) but it's house that still keeps him going . July 1995 , the very first 'Ten Days Off (Techno)' in Gent gave Olivier the chance to play with some big names , as in june of the same year he was playing on 'The longest night ' in Brussel's Fuse (Fred Nasen-Sven Väth-Hardfloor) played on truck of 'Winners' in First City Parade Gent (2005) , since 2003 resident dj in Loungebar Cafe Theatre where in 2003 -2004 together with Maxime Lany issued & mixed the 2 double Cafe Theatre cd's , which by today's standards sold quite well http://soundcloud.com/dj-olivier-astro/dj-olivier-astro-friday-oct
