MNTRA (pronounced 'Mantra') is the moniker of Aniruddha Prabhu - a DJ, record producer, singer and songwriter - based in the Indian city of Bangalore. DJ Mntra's current focus is on releasing a wide range of music across styles, not only deeply rooted in modern Dance music culture, but also infused with an innate Pop sensibility - with emphasis on catchy melodies and nifty rhythms. Influenced by the multicultural sounds of Dancehall, Reggaeton, Hip-Hop and House music, and the various sub-genres of EDM, he also incorporates Indian and Eastern elements in his music, owing to his cultural background.
