Dj Klapr

Born and raised in Jakarta 1986 with a passion for art and music. This deeply rooted bboy, record enthusiast and collector learns music from the street culture. His deep knowledge of music from Hiphop, Funk, Disco, Soul, & Jazz made him known for his taste in music. In 2005 he introduce himself as Klapr and began his voyage by making mix-tapes and playing at parties with diverse crowds around the globe. He has played in Jakarta, Japan, Yogyakarta, Bali to Bangkok. He also had the opportunity to share decks with international DJs such as Natasha Diggs (Soulinthehorn), Bradley Zero (Boiler Room), Simbad (Worldwide FM), Lakim (Soulection) and Shingo Takahashi (Bee's Knees Records). His State of Mind mixtape was ranked 15th on the #hiphop chart at Mixcloud. He is currently working as a Music Director at Wagadiwa Spotify. -- Contact [email protected]
