“It’s how you play, not what you play.”
I was introduced to DJing back in Korea when I was 13 along with creating music and recording. When I moved to Canada in 2000 at the age of 15, I took every chance to practice and get in front of an audience and took a lot of opportunities to Dj for charity functions.
My first job and my first dj gig was at Merivale Bowling Center – DJing is really the only job I’ve ever had!
I like to play hiphop and prefer to use turntables over digital tools and I always work on never repeating the same set; my motto is ‘it’s how you play, not what you play’ making sure that every track is delivered with my personal touch.
