DJ GROOVY Q

DJ Groovy Q has spun on the dance scene since 1997 and is presently resident & promoter behind the underground party troupe Clique. He is also a circuit DJ used often at large and small events like Therapy, Citrus Lounge and the All Pink Party. He was part of the team behind the Citrus Lounge parties and the Swanky parties @ Taboo. Past residencies have included Cherry Thursday (Therapy / G.A.S.S.) and alternate Saturday residency at Therapy and the Sunday club Remedy (115/Oh!). His style of music is always fresh - mixing House, Vocal Garage, and a little UK Two Step. He also includes some of his own tracks in his sets, and his trademark signature is house remixes of Sade. He is currently one of the Top 60 South African DJ's as voted by clubbersguide.co.za. He has opened for international DJ’s Stephan Pompegnaque (Hotel Costes), Jose Padilla (Café Del Mar), Ravin (Buddah Bar), Alan X (X-Trax), Mark Bambach and Tasty Tim to name a few.
