DJ Daric B is a native to Northern California and was raised all over the Bay Area from Oakland to Vallejo. As a teenager in the 1980’s and huge fan of hip-hop during its early days, Daric saw that the DJ had all the fun and was the center of attention. Over the years, Daric would emulate his heroes such as local legends; Michael Ericson and Cameron Paul and buy equipment as he could afford it. His first gigs were local house parties and school dances, but soon after he would graduate to clubs and DJing for rappers on tour.
In 1993, Daric B added promotions and marketing to his already impressive repertoire and became a part of the ultra-successful Young Black Brotha Records team under the tutelage of industry veteran Rob Nonies. Successful promotions with Mac Mall, Mac Dre, and Ray Luv would eventually land Daric more high profile promotional positions with GOLD selling projects from Junior Mafia, Mack 10 and more.
