1996 – The album that started it all. In 1996 I was 17 years old and won a competition of all the latest RPM Dance CD’s. I got invited to the RPM Dance offices in Rosebank to collect my prize. There I met Karl Anderson and Sammy Ashford. I left that office in awe and said I will one day run RPM Dance. 1999 I started working at RPM Dance and grew RPM Dance to be not only the biggest Dance Label in SA history but also the label that was home to some of the most innovative “firsts” for the Dance Scene not only in South Africa but globally.
ESP was released at the height of the “Rave” era and was mixed by DJ Nelson (who I went on to do allot more work with through my career). This album contained so many tracks that impacted my career later on in life again. Pizzaman – I went on to sign multiple Norman Cook releases both RPM Dance and Soul Candi/F! Records, George Morel – worked the Strictly Rhythm Label for many years and so much more… (limited space)
