The bastard child of a funked-out orgy involving Aretha, Irma, JB, Sly, and the Average White Band horn section, DJ Cochon de Lait was abandoned on the streets of New Orleans as a small child. In order to survive, he raised himself on a steady diet of slow-roasted swine and 45s by The Meters until he was old enough to board a Greyhound bus and make a name for himself in The Big Bad Apple. Having shared the stage with luminaries, such as George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Dr. John, The Metermen with Page McConnell, Galactic, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Trombone Shorty, Kermit Ruffins, Soulive, Rebirth Brass Band, Little Feat, George Porter, Jr. & The Runnin' Pardners, Bonerama, Jon Cleary, and many more, DJ Cochon de Lait has laid down the funk across numerous venues in New York and New Orleans.
