I-man Black Bufanda aka Irie Stamp co-founded and runned Rise & Shine sound system (Italy) in 2004 in its early years and still feel myself as a sometimes-active part of its lovely family. After that i played reggae music for many social/political purposes and than founded Roots(A)Spread! in 2018, allways keepin embers alive! Parallel to reggae music I have always carried out some other musical projects of various kinds (Gandhi Kamikaze, a peace-anarcho-punk band; Sèvna, electronic music...). ROOTS Ⓐ SPREAD! is a collective of selectors, djs and activists who has two crucial goals: - helping political prisoners through the good reggae music sessions in parties, in squats and all other libertarian social spaces; - recording original reggae sessions to spread all over the power of roots reggae music; to give energy & strenght to the people, especially them who struggle for freedom all over the world.
