Alan Stephens

Names I have used over the years on the DJ / Club Scene - DJ A'Ski, Alan Luvdup, Alan Luvdup Stevens I'm rubbish at this sort of big up yourself type thing so here's the rub... Been playing since the early 80's, started off in Cape Town, South Africa playing Hip Hop / Electro / Hi Energy (a random mix I know) and started playing house around 86 /87, at Club Trammps and The Base. Moved to the UK in 86 (as wasn't keen on being conscripted into the SA Army) and travelled around a bit. Also threw a few Acid House Parties in 88 on one of my return visits at Ritas in Cape Town. On my return to the UK, I hooked up with Mark & Adrian Luvdup and was resident for them at Various venues as well as playing out with them for several years at various guest spots all over the UK and abroad. Also did a Season in 2000 at the Limelight in Kavos (Corfu, Greece) - (Thanks to Ian Charles) and now I'm enjoying life not being so hectic just doing the occasional party here and there.
