DJ Elefunk was raised in the golden era of Hip Hop: the period of the late 80’s and early 90’s that was defined by mobile DJs hauling crates of vinyl to house parties and family events … delivering beats to make your head nod. Inspired by new jack swing beats, the boom boom crack, and the R&B melodies, she knew that DJing would become a passion. DJ Elefunk began her DJ journey in 1999, developing her own unique style and skill set. In 2001, she landed her first major gig in Vallejo. As years progressed, she would DJ house parties and community events all over the Bay Area, staying relevant with the Bay Area music scene. In 2006, she moved to Orange County and reconnected herself with the music/party industry, DJing in a variety of venues in the Southern California area. In tune with the crowd vibe, she knows how to make the masses move and rock the party properly.
