This Was The Sound Of Belfast

"I remember the back in the 90's when I first heard Cool play electronic music I knew back then this illegal computer sound was gonna be my call My heart got hooked on 4x4 beats when house took its journey with Mark and guests on Saturday night Now my heart is hooked forever It's in my soul In my veins On my mind 94/7" In '96 I lived just close enough to receive Cool FM. I bought a NICAM VCR and archived as many of Mark Wesley's Saturday shows as I could. Late '98 i moved away and the tapes went missing for a good 20 years.. I since found and digitised them all, even though some tapes had grown mould, some snapped and needed splicing, some had bad audio/mono because that's just how the FM signal was that night. If anyone out there can help with any missing shows/better quality/spellings, reach out! Mark's still active, and still an awesome DJ posting some great mixes on here Mark, I thank you for getting me into EDM and I hope you find these and enjoy memory lane
