24X24 2016

The 24X24 Event idea came about while I was talking to Mykol, Ed and Logan at Lumpen Radio about an event to help generate money for the station. Later the idea surfaced again on our IRS radio show when Tyler Huffman and again when Drew Mitchell were guests. Through collaboration with Drew and sponsors DanJ, Cage & Aquarium and 606 we were able pull this event off. 24 Chicago DJs each played a 1 hour vinyl set for 24 hours starting Saturday at 12PM ending Sunday at 12 PM. The event was live at 606 records and on lumpen Radio. It was a total blast and a great success. Sets were incredible. The store turned into a huge party and was rocking hard at 4AM. Thx to Chi town legendary doorman Steve Silver for keeping it all cool. I met so many great people and heard so much insane music.
