Kat-Rick is a DJ and producer based in Dubai. He’s also a skilled turntablist with a passion for creating unique and engaging mixes, In addition to that, he is also a record label owner, running Fogo Recordings, which he established in 2016. Kat-Rick was born Karthik Rai. Although he is based in the United Arab Emirates, he is originally from India, where he was born and raised. He has a lifelong passion for music, and his artistic journey took a turn when he moved to Pune. There, he had the opportunity to study with a DJ institute, learning more about the process of creating a fantastic set-list and working out how to maximize the energy and flow when performing live. It did not take long for Kat-Rick to start hitting the clubs! He has performed live many times since, and he had the chance to play music for thousands of people throughout the years.
