Originally from Louisville KY, Cee Hu$$ler is famous for being the first DJ in London England to mix reggae and comedy sound bites over hip hop and jazz instrumentals back in 1981. Combining everything from 80’s pop and disco to house, jazz, reggae and hip-hop, Cee Hu$$ler provided “something for everyone, no matter what you’re into" and in the process helped launch Cee Hu$$ler into worldwide consciousness as one of the best mixtape-making, party dj’s around. Cee was introduced to the art of scratching by none other than Grandmaster Flash in Fayetteville NC in 1980 and the rest is history. Growing up on a steady diet of R&B, rock, country and funk, Cee Hu$$ler paid dues in the east end of Louisville as well as the suburb of Newburg where he divided his time between hustling his “pause-button” mixed cassette tapes on the streets, djing at local bars, and promoting shows.
