AKA Beyond Z of the Octavators and the Longfellow Project. I only spin vinyl mixes from my personal record collection that fills up a 4x4 bookcase. I mix on my trusty pair of Technics SL-1200M3D turntables and Numark M3 mixer, using Shure M44-7 phono cartridges as well. I record into a soundcard/DAW through a Mackie 802-VLZ3 mixer without applying any type of FX or audio restoration (yeah you get snaps crackles and pops but the original audio is preserved) The only thing I do before uploading to Mixcloud is use a hard limiter set to -.1Db.
