Originally gaining notoriety as "DJ Excel est. 1992," Bmore Original rebranded himself in 2014 after having operated a label under that name since 2004. This move separated him from a glut of other DJs using "Excel" but also more accurately represented what Bmore Original was all about: both a proud DJ from the 410 of Baltimore, and a true original among his peers. He's a member of the Bum Squad DJz Worldwide Family and has been featured in numerous magazines, blogs, fanzines, and more. As DJ Excel, his first release was the 8th in Baltimore Club Music's history 1995, helping define the Baltimore Club OG sound. Bmore Original has grown into a brand that specializes in Baltimore Club Music and doubles as a digital distribution group and clothing line (you may have seen "Bmore Original" shirts in a handful of videos on MTV).
