Bill King Show

Bill King is a musician/photojournalist/radio veteran whose credits reach back to the sixties as once music director for Janis Joplin and Linda Ronstadt and through the years - the Pointer Sisters, Martha Reeves, and many others. He's an award-winning producer, twenty-eight-year artistic director of the Beaches International Jazz Festival and a former producer/broadcaster at Toronto's Jazz.Fm91, the past six years at Newstalk1010 as music director for The Ted Woloshyn Show and also hosts the Bill King (Interview) Show at CIUT 89.5 the University of Toronto. King's productions and mentoring helped launch the careers of three prominent Canadian singers; Liberty Silver, top selling jazz artist Sophie Milman and award-winning blues singer Shakura S'Aida and even a song-writing credit for American pop icon Chaka Khan. King has close to a hundred recording credits.
