2021 BREAKTHROUGH DJ

In March 2020, Time Off Festivals partnered with Centreforce Radio to launch the 2020 Breakthrough DJ Competition. The aim was to help launch the careers and significantly boost the profiles of young DJs (aged between 18 - 25) in the UK. Following two hotly contested Mixcloud Rounds (30 minute pre-recorded sets) we took the hottest 12 Breakthrough DJ's to a live Play-Off, held on Sunday 19th July. They were put under live scrutiny by a Centreforce Radio and Time Off Festival Judging Panel - and after some fantastic sets - we chose the 6 Finalists! We have just held the Final in a private Studio, with a fresh set of Pro Judges watching every move. We witnessed. The very best in music choice, mixing skill and technical ability – with each of the 6 Finalists really bringing their A-Game. The result is that RYAN WILLMOTT becomes the “2020 Breakthrough DJ” – he will play on the Main Stage at the 2021 Time Off Festival – alongside Sigma, Wilkinson, James Hype etc. More news soon!
